Test methods

Functional Test – Pass/Fail Testing :

The Go / No-Go Functional Testing method involves testing a module or a PCB (UUT) to check whether it is functioning ok (Go) or not OK (No-Go).

Revisyz can perform a functional testing on the modules or UUTs.

The test program are written in User Defined Language (LabVIEW/ Python/ VB etc.) and sequenced to prove the UUT works to a pre-determined set of conditions.

Producing the test program for a UUT requires an understanding of its function, or a test specification and sequence, so that the test Program can be developed. We can provide a complete diagnosing method to identify the cause of the failure so that the corrective measures can be performed. The Final Check Results can be captured in a Report and Displayed to Cross verify. This is mainly used to track the performance of the unit and to verify the final confidence check on the circuit.

Boundary scan:

Boundary Scan, also known as JTAG, is a test technique that is applied to devices equipped with a special Test Access Port (TAP) and additional circuitry. Conforming to the IEEE 1149.1 standard, these devices can be tested both internally and externally using serial data conforming to the standard.

Revisyz has a capability to develop a Boundary Scan program using the BSDL file using any Industry standard tool which enables us to provide an industry edge for testing devices and boards fitted with Boundary Scan devices.
